Care For Widows
Where We Started
When God’s Care Pentecostal Ministries first began reaching out to widows, the vision was simple to stand
beside women who had lost their spouses and were left to shoulder the heavy burden of raising families alone.
What started as a small act of kindness to just a few widows in our community has since grown into a ministry of hope and restoration. Over the years,
we have seen lives transformed as widows receive both spiritual encouragement and practical support to rebuild their futures.
Through this program, widows have benefited from; some food and some essential supplies, small land where they cultivate, emotional and spiritual support reminding them they are not forgotten, and opportunities for their children to access education and care.
Garden Land
The ministry purchased land for widows, where they now cultivate crops to sustain themselves and their families.In addition to the land, widows occasionally receive basic necessities such as food, bedding, clothing, and soap, depending on available funding. This program helps ensure both their survival and dignity, giving them practical support.
While these efforts bring hope and dignity, some widows still face daily struggles. You can make a real difference in their lives by joining hands with us whether through donations of money, clothes, bedding, or by becoming a sponsor or partner. Every act of kindness helps these women rise above hardship and feel the warmth of a caring community.
Orphan Program
The Orphans Program began with a vision to support vulnerable children in our community who had lost one or both parents. Initially, the ministry provided basic care food, clothing, and mentorship—but it quickly became clear that education was the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and give these children a future.
Over the years, the ministry expanded its efforts, offering school fees, uniforms, books, and learning materials to orphans who would otherwise be unable to attend school. Beyond providing essentials, the program includes mentorship and guidance, helping children stay in school, excel academically, and dream bigger.
Many Lives Touched
Today, the Orphans Program reaches a number of children across the community school, ensuring they have access to quality education and a supportive environment. Many of our students have moved from struggling to thriving, showing growth not only academically but also spiritually and emotionally. The ministry continues to nurture these children, believing that education is the key to a brighter tomorrow.
