Under God’s Care Pentecostal Ministries Limited, the church planting ministry is a key initiative aimed at accelerating spiritual growth across communities in Uganda. Since its beginning in 1996 at Ishongororo Pentecostal Church the headquarters the ministry has expanded to over 26 churches, strategically planted in various localities to reach more people with the gospel. From humble beginning in the living room of a faithful widow, Jaires Batasya, to the establishment of a permanent church site in Ishongororo, the ministry has grown steadily.
These churches, which include Kashari, Omuibaale, Rwetweka, Karutusi, Nyabiherere, and many others, are organized into four main centers: Ishongororo, Karutusi, Kanyonza, and Akaihamba. This church planting effort embodies the biblical mandate in 2 Peter 1:3–8, equipping believers with all they need for life and godliness and extending God’s Kingdom through discipleship and community transformation.
Over the years, God’s Care Pentecostal Ministries has not only focused on church planting but has also dedicated itself to nurturing believers through discipleship, evangelism, and community outreach. By working closely with local communities, the ministry provides a place of worship, hope, and fellowship while also addressing practical needs. Through this holistic approach, the ministry continues to impact lives spiritually and socially, building strong foundations of faith and unity among its members.
